Fly Fishing Curriculum
"Cast A Fly, Catch A Student" (CAFCAS) ultizes fly fishing as the instructional method to teach youth how to fish. It was created by a team of educators from the original School of FlyFishing and three high school teachers in Washington state - a Science, Languge Arts and Physical Education teacher (a SHAPE National PE Teacher of the Year.)
The "Cast A Fly, Catch A Student" curriculum meets SHAPE National academic standards in Science, Language Arts, Physical Education and Technology.
The CAFCAS program is a complete "turnkey" curriculum package - everything an educator needs to teach youth how to fish is in one easy to use and manage kit.

These fees are included for 1-2 teachers in a school's initial program fee.

It was created by a team from Nebraska - a PHD Professor in Physical Education Pedagogy, PE Admistrator, two University of Nebraska angling professors and the co-founders of "Fishing in Schools."
The "Cast A Lure, Catch A Student" curriculum meets SHAPE National academic standards and some standards in Science, Languge Arts, Physical Education and Technology.
